There is parking on site, but a key is required to gain access.
you can purchase a key from any of our permit selling stores or online at the join us page
Anglers must make sure the gate is kept locked to prevent fly tipping etc.
Day Angling times as follows
April to October 3.30am -10pm
November to March 6.30am -10pm
Night Angling Times 12pm -12pm
Night Fishing is allowed on this water, for one 24 hour session at a time.

as there is a limit of five anglers per night allowed.
Night Anglers can arrive at the pool at 12pm and must be off the water by 12pm after the night session
You can book a night session up to 5 days in advance and up to 6pm on the day.
Not all of the pegs at Newpool are available for night fishing please see the noticeboard on site.
Toilet facilities
There are no toilets at Newpool, we advise night angers to take a bucket and bag,
There are plenty of portable toilet buckets available from Angling stores or camping shops.
leaving solid waste / soiled tissue or bags containing toilet waste on the bank or in the car park will not be tolerated.
Special Rules
No keepnets to be used, apart from Organised Matches
There is a bait restriction of 1kg per session, and NO prebaiting.
The Area past peg 21 marked "no fishing from this bank" on the map above, is out of bounds,
any member found in the area will be banned from fishing the pool
Juniors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an Adult club member,
This can be a Spectator, Adult, Over 65's or Concessions card holder.

Newpool contains a large head of specimen carp. In addition it also holds Tench, shoals of Roach, Rudd, has a good head of Pike, a few larger bream. Due to the stream that flows through from petty pool, the pool is also the home to some specimen sized eels that occasionally get caught. Fishing is only allowed from the 21 marked pegs.
The pool is about 3.8 acres in size and has 21 pegs, though not all of the pegs are available for night fishing.
Newpool is owned by the Association along with 7 acres of surrounding land.
It was bought by the Association in the early 1980's.
Lots of work has been done in conjunction with local schools to turn the adjoining land into a haven for wildlife, a dipping pond and wild flower area have been installed to promote wildlife and fauna, the pool also hosts Bee Hives installed and maintained by a local Beekeeper, in the out of bounds area opposite peg one, the bees are a non aggressive type, but if anyone has any issues please contact the Bailiff.
