River Weaver (Acton Bridge)

Up to 48 hour night fishing allowed / booking required

Please make yourself aware of any match bookings prior to setting up, as you may be asked to make way for the match

This stretch is from Acton bridge to Dutton locks on the Leigh Arms side of the river only.

Work is ongoing to provide pegs

Parking facilities are available at the gated car park along the bridleway past the Acton bridge moorings. 

(WDAA Gate Key is required).

There are about 40 pegs available at the back and either side of the car park.

No Fishing within 50 metres of Acton Bridge or the Locks

Strictly no making of pegs or Tree cutting.

Our lease arrangement means we must get permission before any peg work can take place. 


Good quality fish available are  Chub, perch, bream, roach, pike, carp and eels.

2021 session at Acton Bridge for our Chairman Bert Reid, 

Bert Commented; Great few hours yesterday evening on the river at Acton Bridge. Mixed bag of bream, skimmers, roach, perch, gudgeon, Rudd and a slippery eel.
